Michael Yapko was interviewed by Nicole Lamberson of Medicating Normal, in their award-winning documentary about the over-prescription of psychoactive medications. 

It shines a spotlight on the not uncommon detrimental effects that psychoactive drugs, including antidepressants, can have on patients who take them.

The documentary's tag line - "When profit-driven medicine meets human beings in distress" - tells much of the "empty promises" story.

As you likely know, Michael has been a critic of the chemical imbalance theory from the very beginning, advocating instead for a social perspective regarding the onset and course of depression.
